The feeling of being lonely is the Lord's appointment for us to search our hearts. It will draw us closer to Him. I like what Francis Bacon said: "Little do men perceive what solitude is, and how far it extendeth. For a crowd is not company, and faces are but a gallery of pictures, and talk but a tinkling cymbal, where there is no love." Solutude is God's way of getting our attention, are our way to reach out to Him.
