Thank God for Second Chances
Today my hubby and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary. This is our "second" time around with each other. We separated and divorced in 1996 and remarried in January 19, 2001! The road has been long and hard but God has been so good to us! Marriage isn't about falling in and out of love, it's loving unconditionally and forgiving. However, the biggest ingredient in a marriage is Jesus!!! If HE is not center of your life and marriage, well, there just isn't much there.
Nathan, I love you so much and glad you and I will grow old together and walk Heaven's streets together!!!!

Belonging.....
Dictionary.com says that belonging means "Acceptance as a natural member or part: a sense of belonging."
It must be a fulfilling feeling to belong. To fill completely loved and wanted. To be the apple of someones eye, when they look at you, everyone knows that your parents are so incredibly proud of you and are so glad you are their daughter. Everyone knows about you because your parents brag on you and celebrate your birth.
Even more now than ever, I know what it feels like to be the parent, just don't know about the kid......
One day, it won't hurt so bad.......
Jesus, be my father, I need this hurt to go away. I want to BE your daughter, not like a daughter.....

The Love of God
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

New Year's Resolutions

New Year's resolutions are know never to be followed after January 31, however, this year, I have some definite ones. The first, is to fall in love with Jesus all over again, every day. Too many times I am distracted by the days running and sometimes just exhausted and forget that I haven't given Jesus my full attention. I want to change that this next year. Without Jesus, my life is a mess and I don't want that.
The second resolution is to take better care of the temple the Lord supplied me. I just have one chance with this ole body, so I better made good of it.
The third is to trust I am loved and belong. This is probably the most difficult for me. God has put people in my life to minister to me, teach me and to love me. My head knows this, but my heart has a hard time trusting that rejection is not an issue.
So, to make myself accountable, I have shared my resolutions with you. I am going to prayerfully do my best to see it through. I'll let you know the results this time next year!!! Hee hee
May God bless my friends and family with a year of joy, strength and wellness. That you will be wrapped in HIS loving arms daily and the HIS grace will be sufficient till the day of HIS great returning......
Love ya all and Happy New Year!!!

Life's Puzzle

Sometimes life is like a puzzle. We have all these pieces and really no clue how to put them together. I'm so glad I have a God that knows what the "puzzle" looks like with all the pieces together!!!!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
